The Fluval FLEXPad Remote Control for Flex Aquariums is the genuine replacement FLEXPad handset for Fluval Flex aquariums, used to set the LED colour and brightness and to run the built-in effects.

Using It
- Point it at the light unit, not at the tank glass
- If an existing remote has stopped working, change the battery before assuming it has failed
- Set a consistent daily photoperiod and use the effects sparingly. Repeated lightning is entertaining for people and not for fish
- Keep it away from the tank. A remote and a water change are a bad combination
Good To Know
- This is the Flex handset. It is not a universal aquarium remote and it will not control other Fluval lights
- The effects are a novelty. The useful settings are brightness and a steady day length
- Nothing in the tank depends on the remote — the light will keep running on its last setting if the handset is lost
- A genuine Fluval spare part. Check the model number against your unit before ordering — Fluval part numbers look alike and do not cross over between series
