Description
JUWEL NovoLux LED Day Control is the timer and dimmer for JUWEL NovoLux LED light units, adding a gradual sunrise and sunset to a strip that would otherwise just switch.
Key Features
- Turns a switch into a sunrise: Light that comes up over a few minutes is easier on fish than a strip that snaps on, and on a small tank with nowhere to hide that counts.
- Set the hours once and leave it: Programme on and off and let it run. Plants and fish both settle better on a fixed photoperiod.
- Dims as well as times: Useful on a small tank, where a strip at full output over a shallow depth can be more light than the plants can use.
- For the NovoLux range: Tell us which NovoLux unit you have and we will confirm it works with yours before you order.
Electrical Safety
- Keep the transformer, the plug and the socket above the water line and outside the cabinet, and leave a drip loop in every cable.
- Unplug it before you put your hands in the tank or work on the hood.
Good To Know
- A controller only. Not a light, and the NovoLux strip is a separate item.
- Mount it somewhere dry that you can reach, and write your settings down in case it loses them.
- Keep it and its adaptor above the water line with a drip loop in the cable.
