Description
JUWEL Monolux Light System - 60 cm is a single-tube light system for a 60 cm JUWEL aquarium.
Key Features
- A complete light system: The fitting itself rather than a bare tube, so it is what you want when the unit in the hood has failed rather than the lamp in it.
- Sized to the aquarium: This is the 60 cm version. Tell us which JUWEL aquarium you have and we will confirm it fits before we dispatch.
- For a single-tube hood: Monolux runs one tube. The simpler of the two JUWEL systems and the one on smaller tanks.
- Ask us about the lamp: Check whether a tube is included and which one this unit takes. Tell us your aquarium and we will give you a straight answer.
Fitting It And Running It
- Order by the measurement, not by the litres. Tell us which JUWEL aquarium you have and we will confirm it before we dispatch.
- Check what is in the box. On several JUWEL units the power supply is a separate item, and a light unit without its transformer does nothing.
- Six to eight hours a day to begin with, on a timer, building up over weeks. In a Dubai summer run them through the cooler part of the day.
Electrical Safety
- Keep the transformer, the plug and the socket above the water line and outside the cabinet, and leave a drip loop in every cable.
- Unplug it before you put your hands in the tank or work on the hood.
Good To Know
- An older part of the JUWEL range. If this is for a tank you have had a long while, ask us about availability first.
- Confirm what is in the box before you order. Lamp included or not changes what you need to buy alongside it.
- Keep the connector, the plug and the socket above the water line and outside the cabinet.
