Description
The Fluval Flex Aquarium Stand is the stand made to sit under the 57 litre Fluval Flex, curved at the front to follow the line of the tank and shelved inside for equipment.
Key Features
- Built for the 57 L Flex specifically, so the footprint and the front curve match the tank
- Integrated shelf inside for food, test kits, nets and spare media
- Available in black or white to match either Flex finish
- A level, rated base — which is what a glass tank actually needs, more than it needs to look right
- Made by Fluval, the aquatics brand of Rolf C. Hagen, which has been building aquarium filters since 1975
Setting It Up
- Assemble it where it will stand. Once the tank is on it and full, it is not moving
- Check it is level before the tank goes on, and check again after filling
- A full 57 L tank with substrate weighs around 70 kg. That is why a purpose-made stand is worth it
- Leave a little clearance behind for cables and the power supply
Good To Know
- Glass tanks need even support across the whole base. An ordinary cabinet that flexes under load is how tanks crack
- The stand fits the 57 L Flex. It is not the right size for the 34 L or the 123 L
- Water gets everywhere on maintenance day. Wipe spills off the top surface rather than leaving them to soak in
- Flat-pack, so allow time for assembly before the fish arrive
