Dymax UV-Flo 5W UV Steriliser - 12/16mm

The Dymax UV-Flo 5 W 12/16 mm is a 5 W in-line UV steriliser that fits on 12/16 mm filter hose to clear green water and reduce free-floating bacteria.

Key Features

• 5 W UV lamp
• Connects in-line to 12/16 mm hose
• Fits canister filters, overhead filters and sump return lines

Good To Know

• Never look at a lit UV lamp — UV light damages eyes. Only switch it on with water flowing through the unit.
• Switch UV off while dosing medication or live bacteria, as UV can break them down.
• UV clears green water and free-floating microbes but doesn't fix the cause — excess nutrients and light.
• Replace the UV lamp about once a year — it keeps glowing after its useful UV output has faded.
• Leave a drip loop in every power cable, so water running down the cord drips off before it reaches the socket.
