Description
JUWEL Eccoflow Ceramic Shaft - 600/1000 is the replacement ceramic shaft that the impeller spins on, for the Eccoflow 600 and 1000 pumps.
Key Features
- The cure for a noisy pump: A pump that has gone from humming to rattling usually has a worn or scored shaft. Changing it is quieter and cheaper than living with it.
- Fit it with a new impeller: A worn shaft and a worn impeller go together. Replacing one and not the other wears the new part out quickly.
- Order by pump size: This one fits the Eccoflow 600 and 1000 pumps. Read the number off your pump rather than guessing from the tank.
- Ceramic, so it lasts: It is a hard, smooth bearing surface. When it does wear it is because grit got in, so rinse the housing when you fit it.
If The Filter Has Slowed Down
- It is usually blocked rather than broken. Check the mechanical pad first, the intake slot second and the impeller third.
- A filter that has stopped altogether is most often an impeller jammed with grit or a snail shell. Pull it, rinse it, check the shaft is not scored.
Good To Know
- A spare part, not a pump and not an impeller. We stock all three.
- Handle it carefully. Ceramic is hard but it is brittle, and a chipped shaft is worse than a worn one.
- Unplug the pump before you take it apart.
