Description
The EHEIM skimmarine 300 is a compact protein skimmer that mounts inside the tank on a magnet holder, for marine aquariums up to about 300 litres.
Key Features
- For marine aquariums up to approx. 300 L
- Needle wheel pump draws its own air (dispergator principle)
- Adjustable air intake to set the skim rate
- Approx. 7 W
- 270 ml collection cup
- Magnetic holder fixes it to the aquarium glass
- Very quiet in use
- Made in Germany, with a 3-year EHEIM manufacturer's warranty
Good To Know
- Give it one to two weeks to settle down — foam is unstable at first and on a new tank
- Empty and rinse the collection cup regularly
- Check the magnet's glass thickness limit before ordering
- Use a residual current device (RCD) on aquarium equipment and leave a drip loop in the cable so water can't run into the socket
- Unplug the unit before opening it or working in the tank
