Dymax Shallow Aquarium - 60 x 30 x 18cm 5mm

The Dymax Shallow Aquarium 60 x 30 x 18cm is a shallow, rimless 60 x 30 x 18cm aquarium in 5mm low-iron glass, made for creative aquascapes with plants and hardscape rising above the water.

Key Features

• 60 x 30 x 18cm (L × W × H), 5mm glass
• Rimless, high-clarity low-iron glass
• Shallow design: wood, rock and plants can grow above the waterline
• Large surface area for good oxygen exchange
• Easy to maintain and to view from above like a pond

Good To Know

• Many aquarium plants grow happily above water and some flower; mist emersed plants if the room is dry.
• Shallow tanks evaporate quickly — top up often.
• Stand the tank on a level, rigid surface built for the full weight — every litre of water weighs about 1 kg, before substrate and rock.
• Rimless glass has exposed edges — carry the tank by its base with two hands, never by one panel.
• Cycle a new tank before adding fish: give the filter bacteria around 4–6 weeks to establish and test for ammonia and nitrite first.
