Good To Know

• Clean acrylic only with a soft cloth or an acrylic-safe pad — abrasive scourers and household glass cleaners scratch and cloud it.
• Small tanks change temperature and water quality quickly; stock lightly and change 10–20% of the water every week.
• Cycle a new tank before adding fish: give the filter bacteria around 4–6 weeks to establish and test for ammonia and nitrite first.
• In a UAE summer an unshaded room can push tank water above 30 °C — watch the temperature closely in small tanks.
• Dymax states a 6-month warranty on the motor and light.
