  • Puppy — High Prairie Puppy and Pacific Stream Puppy, with DHA and a smaller kibble.
  • Ancient Grains — Ancient Mountain, Prairie, Stream and Wetlands, for owners who prefer a meat-first recipe with sorghum, millet, quinoa and chia instead of grain-free.
  • PREY limited ingredient — Angus Beef, Trout and Turkey for dogs and cats, with just 3 or 4 key ingredients and a single animal protein.
  • Cat food — Rocky Mountain (42% protein), Canyon River and Lowland Creek dry recipes for all life stages, plus pouches, patés and cans for kittens, adults, sterilised and senior cats.
  • Wet dog food — cans in gravy and fruit & veg trays, to feed alone or as a topper.

Is Taste of the Wild suitable for puppies?

Yes. High Prairie Puppy and Pacific Stream Puppy are made for puppies, with smaller kibble and DHA. The all life stages recipes — including Sierra Mountain, Southwest Canyon and Pine Forest — are also suitable for puppies. For large breed puppies, follow the feeding table closely to keep growth steady.

Can I feed Taste of the Wild to my kitten?

Yes. Rocky Mountain, Canyon River and Lowland Creek dry recipes are formulated for all life stages, including kittens, and we also stock a Kitten Chicken Paté.

Is there a recipe for small breed dogs?

Appalachian Valley Small Breed is made for small adult dogs, with a smaller kibble and a more energy-dense formula so small portions go further. For small breed puppies, choose a puppy or all life stages recipe.

Is there a recipe for large breed dogs?

There is no large-breed-specific recipe, but all the adult recipes meet the needs of large breed adults. For large breed puppies, use a puppy or all life stages recipe.

Grain-free, Ancient Grains or PREY — which should I choose?

Grain-free suits most dogs and cats and is the classic Taste of the Wild range. Ancient Grains is for owners who prefer grains in the diet. PREY is best for pets with sensitive stomachs or suspected food intolerances, thanks to its very short ingredient list. If your pet has a diagnosed condition, ask your vet.

How do I switch to Taste of the Wild?

Change over gradually across 7–10 days, mixing a little of the new food with the old and increasing it each day, to avoid digestive upset.
