ZIWI Peak Air-Dried Lamb Green Tripe Dog Treats - 80 g

ZIWI Peak Air-Dried Lamb Green Tripe Dog Treats - 80 g is a bag of air-dried lamb green tripe treats for dogs, 80 g, a single ingredient from grass-fed New Zealand lamb.

Key Features

• Green tripe, and only that: One ingredient. Green means unbleached and unwashed, which is the whole point of it and also why it smells the way it does.
• The treat almost no dog refuses: Tripe is the thing to reach for with a dog that has gone off its food, or one that needs convincing to take a tablet.
• Air-dried, so it keeps: All the appeal of raw tripe with none of the freezer and none of the mess.
• Single ingredient, so it fits a controlled diet: If you are testing for a food sensitivity, a lamb-only treat keeps the test honest.

Feeding It Safely

• Supervise the whole time, and take it away once it has worn down to something that could be swallowed whole. That is the moment it stops being a chew and becomes a risk.
• These are treats. They go on top of meals and get counted in the day's food, or they quietly undo whatever diet you are running.
• Fresh water alongside, and have a look at the teeth afterwards. Any hard chew can crack one.

Good To Know

• It smells strong. That is tripe being tripe, not a bag that has gone off, but keep it sealed and perhaps not in the cutlery drawer.
• Rich stuff. Start with a little on a dog that has not had tripe before, or you will spend the evening regretting it.
• Out of stock at the moment. Ask us for the lead time before you plan around it.
