JUWEL Impeller Bioflow 1000 is a replacement impeller for the Bioflow 1000 filter pump.
Key Features
- Usually the whole problem: A pump that has lost flow or started rattling is nearly always worn or clogged at the impeller. This is a few dirhams against a new pump.
- Order by the number on your pump: This one is for the Bioflow 1000 filter pump. The sizes do not interchange, so read the number off the pump rather than working from tank volume.
- Check the shaft too: If the impeller is worn, look at the ceramic shaft it spins on. A scored shaft chews through a new impeller quickly, and we stock those separately.
- Easy to fit: The pump head pulls apart by hand. Rinse the housing out while you have it open, because that is where the grit collects.
If The Filter Has Slowed Down
- It is usually blocked rather than broken. Check the mechanical pad first, the intake slot second and the impeller third.
- A filter that has stopped altogether is most often an impeller jammed with grit or a snail shell. Pull it, rinse it, check the shaft is not scored.
Good To Know
- A spare part, not a pump. If the motor itself is dead you want the complete Eccoflow pump instead, and we stock those.
- Rinse a new impeller and the housing in tank water before you reassemble, so you are not putting grit back in.
- Unplug the pump before you take it apart, every time.
