Drying Properly Matters More Than People Think

• A damp undercoat in humid heat is where hot spots, yeast and that characteristic wet dog smell come from. Getting a thick coat genuinely dry is half the job of bathing it
• Blot and squeeze rather than rubbing in circles. Rubbing a long coat is how you turn a clean dog into a matted one
• Work from the head back, then the legs and belly last - the bits that stay wettest longest
• Follow with a brush once the coat is damp rather than soaking, not after it has dried into tangles

Washing The Towel

• Wash microfibre on its own, or with other microfibre. It grabs lint off everything else in the drum
