Description
The FOFOS Swinging Penguin Interactive Cat Toy is a plush penguin that reacts when it is touched. The wings flap, it chirps, and then it goes still again - so a cat that has walked away gets pulled back in the next time they brush past it.
Key Features
- Motion activated, so it starts when the cat makes contact
- Flapping wings and a chirping sound together
- Rocks and rights itself as the wings move
- Soft plush shell with no hard edges
Motion-Activated Means Solo Play
- Most cat toys need you at the other end of them. This one does not, which makes it useful for a cat that is alone for part of the day
- It still works better if you start the first few sessions yourself. Set it off, let the cat see it move, then leave them to it
If The Noise Is Too Much
- Some cats are startled rather than interested by a toy that suddenly makes a noise. Give it a few tries at a distance before deciding
- Others get over-stimulated. If your cat ends a session agitated rather than satisfied, this is not the toy for them
Good To Know
- The previous description for this listing said it simulated the movement of an owl. It is a penguin
- Check the battery compartment stays closed. Button cells are dangerous if swallowed
- It is electronic and not washable. Wipe the surface only
- Switch it off or take it up overnight. A toy that chirps at three in the morning does not stay popular
