Fish4Dogs Training Salmon Bites Dog Treats - 80g

The Fish4Dogs Training Salmon Bites Dog Treats are small salmon training pieces — sized for the number of rewards a training session actually needs rather than for one big treat.

Key Features

• Salmon-based, grain-free, and free of artificial colours and preservatives
• Small, low-calorie pieces, so you can reward often without overfeeding
• Marine omega-3 arrives as EPA and DHA already formed, so a dog does not have to convert it the way it must with plant oils
• An 80 g bag fits a pocket, which is where training treats need to be
• Made by Fish4Dogs, a British company that builds its recipes around fish rather than using it as a flavouring

Using Them In Training

• Reward often and reward small. Frequency is what teaches a dog, not the size of each piece
• Keep the bag sealed. Fish treats lose their aroma quickly once open, and the aroma is what makes them work
• Keep treats to roughly a tenth of the day's calories, and take the difference off the main meal
• Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available

Good To Know

• Fish is a common trigger in dogs with food sensitivities. If your dog has itchy skin or recurring ear trouble, fish is worth ruling in or out with a vet rather than feeding more of
• Grain-free suits dogs that do badly on cereal, but it is a formulation choice rather than a hypoallergenic claim
• Store sealed in a cool, dry place
• An 80 g bag does not last long in daily training. Worth keeping a spare
