Erba Piu Cat Grass Seeds Refill - 40g

The Erba Piu Cat Grass Seeds Refill is a sachet of certified cat grass seed for re-sowing a tray you already have.

Key Features

• 40 g sachet — enough to re-sow a tray several times over
• Certified seed, with germination guaranteed by Erba Piu
• Grass is ready in about a week and stays good for roughly two to three weeks
• Refills the Erba Piu Week kit, or any shallow tray and potting soil you already have
• Gives an indoor cat something safe to chew instead of your houseplants
• Made in Italy by ErbaPiù

How To Use

• Fill a shallow tray with damp potting soil or coconut fibre and level it off
• Scatter the seeds evenly over the surface and press them in lightly — don't bury them
• Keep the tray out of direct sunlight, and water lightly if the soil dries out
• When the grass is 6–8 cm tall, put it down for your cat

Good To Know

• Seeds only — there is no tray and no soil in this pack. The Erba Piu Week kit includes both
• Erba Piu says the grass aids digestion and helps a cat bring up fur swallowed during grooming — these are the brand's own claims
• Grass is not a treatment for hairballs: if your cat retches repeatedly, vomits, goes off its food or becomes constipated, see a vet
• Cat grass is not the same thing as catnip; it is grass for chewing, not a scent that excites cats
• Store the sachet somewhere cool and dry, and out of your cat's reach
• Only ever use seed sold for pets — lawn and garden seed is often chemically treated
