The EHEIM pHcontrol+e is a WiFi pH controller that measures the water's pH and switches your CO2 supply on and off to hold it steady.

Good To Know
- Calibrate the sensor with buffer solutions when new and every few months
- pH sensors wear out — expect to replace the sensor every 1–2 years
- pH also swings with KH and aeration; use a drop checker as a cross-check
- Too much CO2 suffocates fish — set a conservative target and watch the fish
- Use a residual current device (RCD) on aquarium equipment and leave a drip loop in the cable so water can't run into the socket
