Dymax 2-in-1 Glass Hydrometer & Thermometer

The Dymax Glass Hydrometer is a floating glass hydrometer with a built-in thermometer for measuring the specific gravity (salinity) of marine aquarium water.

Key Features

• Measures specific gravity and temperature in one
• Clear glass with an easy-read colour scale
• For marine and brackish aquariums

Good To Know

• Float it in a still sample, free of bubbles, and read at eye level.
• Most reef tanks are kept at a specific gravity around 1.024–1.026.
• Take salinity readings at the same water temperature each time; readings shift as water warms or cools.
• Top up evaporation with fresh RO water, not salt water — salt doesn't evaporate.
• It is glass — handle carefully.
