Good To Know

• Crunchy treats can help rub plaque off the tooth surface, but they do not replace tooth brushing or a check-up. Bad breath, red or bleeding gums, drooling or trouble eating need a vet's attention.
• Treats are complementary food. Keep them to no more than about 10% of daily calories and cut the main meal back to match.
• Feed under supervision and always leave fresh water available.
• Store in a cool, dry place and reseal the pack after opening.
• Introduce new treats one at a time. Stop feeding and speak to your vet if your cat gets loose stools or seems itchy.
• These contain corn, rice and potato meal and soy protein, so they are not grain-free.
• Straining in the litter tray, crying or passing little or no urine is an emergency in cats, especially males - see a vet straight away.
