Description
The Burgess Excel Nuggets with Mint for Adult Guinea Pig 3kg are high-fibre nuggets with mint for adult guinea pigs, developed with vets and nutritionists.
Key Features
- For adult guinea pigs
- Recipe developed with vets and nutritionists
- All-in-one nuggets, so guinea pigs can't pick out the bits they like and leave the rest
- With antioxidants including vitamin E
- Prebiotics and fibre to support digestion
- With mint
- 3kg
Feeding Tips
- Feed a measured amount of nuggets a day as the pack directs, alongside unlimited hay and fresh greens.
- Change foods gradually over one to two weeks.
- Always leave fresh water available.
Good To Know
- Hay should make up most of a guinea pig's daily food — nuggets are a small, measured extra.
- Guinea pigs can't make their own vitamin C and need it from food every day. Vitamin C fades in stored food, so check the pack date and offer fresh vegetables such as bell pepper.
- A guinea pig that stops eating or stops passing droppings needs a vet the same day — gut stasis is an emergency.
