Description
Aquarium Systems PaleoSand Fine is an ultra-pure natural aragonite substrate of fossil origin for saltwater aquariums. Its bright, reflective finish suits reef tanks with light-loving corals.
Key Features
- Ultra-pure — 99.2% calcium carbonate (CaCO3), with only 0.4% magnesium carbonate and 0.035% iron oxide
- Highly reflective — bright sand that bounces light back up to corals
- Environmentally friendly — a fossil alternative to harvested coral sand
- Fine grain — a smooth, natural-looking sand bed
How to Use
- Rinse thoroughly before adding to the aquarium.
- Choose Fine for a smooth sand bed, or Medium for a coarser look and better water flow through the substrate.
