Using a Dog Backpack
- Start with an empty pack on short walks so your dog gets used to it.
- Load evenly on both sides. As a guide, a healthy adult dog should carry no more than about 10% of its body weight — ask your vet first for young, older or less fit dogs.
- Avoid the hottest part of the day in the UAE summer.
